About TFCC

Uniting the Telugu Film Industry since 1979

Our History

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (formerly Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce) was established in the year 1979 in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, with a view to facilitate services to all sections of film industry such as Studios, Outdoor units, Film producers, Distributors and Exhibitors who are spread-over throughout the state.

It has been recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as the sole representative body of the film industry in the State. The main aim of establishing the Film Chamber is to bring all the film establishments in the state under one umbrella to have mutual co-operation among these members and to represent various problems of the film industry to the State and Central Governments.

The Name of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) was changed to Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) with effect from 11th June 2015.

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has established Regional Offices in all the five regions of Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati) for settling disputes between the producers & Distributors and similarly between Distributors & Exhibitors and help the various Members to carry on their business smoothly.

TFCC is a Member of Film Federation of India (FFI) and its Members represent the FFI Executive Committees which is the Apex Body of Indian Film Industry recognized by the Government of India. It takes up all matters connected with Central Government through Film Federation of India by its Representatives.

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has a building complex in an area of 13,000 Sq. Feet with attached Guest Rooms facility to cater to the needs of out-station members. The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce is the only trade body which provides Preview theatre with DTS and Dolby Digital Facility.
